What is the RDV Weekender?

The RDV Weekender is our biggest community event of the year! It’s a 3-day getaway designed for rainbow dads, parents, carers, and their kids of every age (from babies to teens).

Last year was a massive hit, and 2026 will be even bigger and better. We’re heading to a beautiful new venue, the BIG4 Ballarat Windmill Holiday Park, which offers:

• A stunning location with cabins, powered sites, and family-friendly facilities.

• More structured activities for kids of all ages.

• Plenty of relaxed hangouts for dads to connect.

• Shared meals, games, craft, and outdoor fun.

• A safe, inclusive environment for every family structure.

Why We Need Your EOI Now

Cabins and sites are limited, and the holiday park can only hold them for us if we provide numbers early. Your EOI is not a booking, but it helps us secure the right spaces before they go to the general public. It tells us:

• How many cabins/sites to reserve.

• What mix of room types families want.

• Who’s coming, and how many kids (and what ages).

• Any accessibility or support needs.

• Who’s open to joining the organising group.
