About the event

Join us to celebrate Fatherhood – for all dads, and dads-to-be!

This is a fantastic opportunity for all Rainbow Dads Victoria members and their families to connect, share, and celebrate the incredible journey of fatherhood in a relaxed and welcoming setting. This picnic is all about us – whether you're a seasoned parent, have recently welcomed a new baby, are expecting, or are just beginning to think about or plan for fatherhood, you are all warmly invited.

It's a wonderful chance to meet and bond with fellow parents, share experiences, and build our vibrant community. Our picnics are always a hit with the kids, who range from newborns to early teens, ensuring there's fun for everyone!

What to Expect:

  • Celebrating Us: This picnic is dedicated to celebrating the diverse experiences of fatherhood within our community.

  • Community Connection: A relaxed environment to chat, laugh, and connect with other rainbow dads.

  • Kids' Fun: Plenty of space for children to play, make new friends, and enjoy the outdoors.

  • Potluck Lunch: We'll be enjoying a delicious potluck lunch. Please bring a plate of food to share with the group – your culinary contribution is always appreciated!

  • Toast to Fatherhood: Let's raise a toast (perhaps with some juice , some Prosecco and milk bottles) as we celebrate everything that fatherhood means to us.

Dads in the Planning, or Dads-to-Be?

If you're contemplating fatherhood, in the process of becoming a dad, or actively planning your journey, we extend a special welcome to you! This picnic is a perfect, relaxed environment to connect with experienced rainbow dads, ask questions, gather information, and get a real taste of the supportive dad life our community offers. Please come down and be welcomed – we'd love to share our experiences and cheer you on!
