Rainbow Dads Victoria (RDV) is a volunteer-run community organisation. RDV creates opportunities for rainbow dads, prospective rainbow dads, rainbow dad families and children to connect, share information and build community. 

 

By joining RDV online spaces, registering for an event, or attending an RDV activity, I understand and agree that: 

• I will treat other participants, families, children, volunteers and Board members with respect, care and fairness. 

• I will respect different family structures, parenting pathways, identities, cultures, relationships and lived experiences. 

• I will follow RDV’s event expectations, venue rules and reasonable safety directions. 

• I will respect people’s privacy and will not share photos, names, identifying details or private information about other participants or children without appropriate consent. 

• I understand that parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision, care and safety of their children at all times. 

• I understand that RDV is a community organisation, not a service provider. RDV does not provide childcare, professional advice, counselling, case management, crisis response, therapeutic support, education programs or formal dispute resolution. 

• I understand that RDV may provide general information or referrals to external organisations, but this does not replace independent advice or professional support where needed. 

• I will raise concerns appropriately if I notice unsafe behaviour, privacy issues, child safety concerns, harassment, discrimination, boundary issues or other risks. 

• I understand that RDV may change, refuse, restrict or end a person’s participation in events, online spaces or activities where needed to manage safety, privacy, conduct, child wellbeing or organisational risk.
